Dr Khalid Aziz

Dr Aziz is the lead clinician and medical director of the Birmingham Circumcision Centre.

He graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2007 and went on to complete postgraduate training across the West Midlands. He has gained surgical experience across various specialties including General Surgery, Urology, Orthopaedics & Vascular Surgery. He has also undertaken training in Paediatrics, General Medicine and Emergency Medicine.

Dr Aziz is a NHS practising GP with over 17 years of clinical experience. He has a specialist interest in minor surgery and has been providing this service as a GP for over a decade. He has performed thousands of circumcisions and has worked alongside a UK based Consultant Plastic Surgeon specialising in male circumcision.

He is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP). He is a member of the Association of Surgeons in Primary Care (ASPC).

Dr Aziz is a well-established and respected GP in the local community. He has a very professional yet friendly and approachable nature.

Our Clinic

We are located inside the Ward End Medical Centre. This is a CQC registered GP Surgery and is regulated to perform surgical procedures.
All relevant guidelines are adhered to, including infection control, confidentiality and safeguarding.
The circumcision is performed in a minor surgery room and have a recovery room to allow you to stay with your son immediately after the procedure. We have free onsite car parking, baby changing facilities and a spare room if required for breastfeeding.

Extremely happy with the service. My husband was praising the doctor and assistant - saying how they explained everything step by step and reasured him every step of the way. After care is fantastic too. They also called to ask how my son was recovering. The doctor even got back to me within minutes of me asking them a question.We recommend 100%!

We had our son no2’s circumcision done at the BCC. Can definitely see the difference from our first son’s circumcision which was carried out at a different clinic.Excellent service provided by Dr Khalid and the team. Very professional, love the relaxing soothing music in the background during the whole procedure. Detailed guidance provided for aftercare.Highly recommend… We will be back for future children 🙂

We are extremely happy with the service that we received. We can’t thank doctor Aziz and his nurse enough. They were very professional. As first time parents we were very nervous about the whole procedure, however, Dr Aziz and his nurse put our mind at ease. Any questions or concerns that we had post surgery were answered on the same day via what’s app. The after care was just as good as the procedure itself. My son healed very well. I would 100% recommend. Thank you so much for a great service.

I was extremely happy with the way the staff dealt with my son. Their communication skills were excellent, they explained the procedure really well as well as the after care process. Hygiene maintenance was great, the bed was cleaned before and after use, the staff washed their hands each time they were required to. Had a call to see how my son was doing a couple of days after the circumcision. Anytime we contacted them to ask questions or gain advice they provided this straight away. Brilliant staff deliver an outstanding service. Highly recommend them.
